WRELAY News — A WRELAD Universe Platform

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the WRELAY News platform, operated by WRELAD Universe Inc. ("WRELAD Universe," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using WRELAY News, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Account Terms

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account on WRELAY News.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your profile information up to date.
One person may not maintain more than one free account. Additional accounts may be created for news organisations, editorial teams, or creator purposes with proper verification.
Your account is non-transferable. You may not sell, trade, or give away your account to another person.
Journalist and press accounts must complete verification through our editorial review process.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

2. Content Ownership

Your Content: You retain full ownership of all content you create and publish on WRELAY News, including articles, posts, notes, stories, audio spaces, and live streams.
License to WRELAY News: By publishing content, you grant WRELAD Universe a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and promote your content within the WRELAD Universe ecosystem.
Syndication: Articles marked for syndication may be distributed to partner platforms with attribution. You can control syndication preferences in your creator settings.
Creative DNA: Your creative style and patterns ("Creative DNA") remain your intellectual property. Other users may reference your style only through the licensed Creative DNA marketplace.
Collaborative Works: For content created through collaboration features, ownership is shared according to the collaboration agreement set by participants.
Removal: You may delete your content at any time. We will remove it from public view promptly, though cached or syndicated copies may persist for a limited period.

3. Revenue Sharing

WRELAY News provides creators and journalists with opportunities to earn revenue. The following revenue-sharing structure applies:

3.1 Free Tier

Creators on the free tier receive 60% of revenue generated from their content, including ad revenue, tips, subscriptions, and marketplace sales.
WRELAD Universe retains 40% to cover platform operations, payment processing, content delivery, and editorial support.

3.2 WRELAD+ Subscribers

Creators with an active WRELAD+ subscription receive 80% of revenue generated from their content.
WRELAD Universe retains 20% to cover platform operations.
Additional WRELAD+ benefits include priority editorial review, advanced analytics, featured placement, early access to features, and enhanced discovery.

3.3 Payout Terms

Earnings are paid out once the minimum threshold of $10.00 USD is reached.
Payouts are processed monthly via Stripe Connect or your preferred payment method.
You are responsible for reporting and paying applicable taxes on your earnings.

4. Prohibited Content

The following content and behaviour are strictly prohibited on WRELAY News:

Content that promotes violence, hate speech, discrimination, or harassment.
Deliberately false or misleading news content presented as factual reporting.
Sexually explicit material involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers children.
Spam, clickbait, or deceptive practices including artificial engagement (fake likes, followers, or views).
Content that infringes on intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademarks, and plagiarism.
Malware, phishing, or any attempt to compromise the security of the platform or its users.
Impersonation of other users, journalists, public figures, or WRELAD Universe staff.
Content that violates any applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction.
Coordinated inauthentic behaviour, including bot networks, astroturfing, and manipulation of trending algorithms.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban at our discretion. Our Community Wars moderation system empowers communities to self-govern within these guidelines.

5. Termination

By You: You may delete your account at any time through your Security Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed according to our Privacy Policy.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, publish deliberately false reporting, or pose a risk to the community. We will provide notice where practicable.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Any outstanding creator earnings above the payout threshold will be paid within 30 days. Published articles may be retained in an anonymised, archived form for public-interest purposes.
Appeals: You may appeal account actions by contacting our support team at appeals@wrelad.com.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

WRELAY News is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. WRELAD Universe does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content, including news articles and commentary. WRELAD Universe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect by posting a notice on the platform and sending an email to your registered address. Your continued use of WRELAY News after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
